Today, I had the privilege of spending time with our Cass County TRIAD group, a dedicated group of senior citizens who meet regularly to stay informed, engaged, and connected with law enforcement and community services.
Before our discussion, we enjoyed a wonderful fish fry prepared by Chief Deputy Eric Alger, with assistance from myself. Sharing a meal together provided a great opportunity for conversation and fellowship and we appreciate everyone who joined us.
During our meeting, we reviewed recent Sheriff's Office activity, monthly statistics, emerging crime and public safety trends, and upcoming events that may impact both the Sheriff's Office and the citizens of Cass County. These discussions are invaluable because they provide an opportunity for two-way communication—allowing us to share

information while also hearing the concerns,
questions, and perspectives of some of our most experienced community members.
The partnership between the Cass County Sheriff's Office and our TRIAD members continues to strengthen community safety through education, awareness, and collaboration. Our seniors play an important role in helping us identify concerns, share information with neighbors, and build stronger connections throughout the county.
Thank you to everyone who attended and participated in today's gathering. Your involvement, support, and commitment to making Cass County a safe place to live are greatly appreciated.
We look forward to continuing these important conversations and working together to address the challenges and opportunities facing our communities.
